All ornamental trees shall be pruned when appropriate to remove dead or damaged branches. Trimming of trees shall be done to retain their natural shape. Fertilizers shall be applied regularly for every species as required. Prevention and control of any insect or disease problems that may exist in the trees shall be taken care of, to eliminate infestation problems by the use of chemical application. Removal and disposal of trash and debris caused by trimming and pruning operations shall be swept and removed on site once daily. Fallen leaves coming from deciduous trees at the wooded areas shall be swept and discard once every day.
All ornamental shrubs and ground covers shall be pruned when needed to remove dead or damaged branches, develop the natural form of the plant to create the effect suitable for the area. Hedges shall be trimmed and pruned to desired shape or retain their natural shape. Broadleaf evergreen shrubs shall be hand-pruned to maintain their natural appearance after the new growth hardens off. Ground covers shall be edged and pruned as needed to contain them within their borders. Plants overhanging passageway and parking areas and damaged plants shall be pruned as needed. Shrub and ground cover fertilization shall be applied as needed. Weeding works at all shrub and tree pit areas on continuos basis or as necessary to maintain a neat appearance at all times. Immediate measures shall be taken to eliminate any disease or infestation problems any necessary chemical application to control plant insects is included in the maintenance contract. Removal and disposal of trash, debris caused by trimming operation from all shrubs and ground cover beds shall be executed regularly.
